How we rank dating sites

Every country page is built the same way.

1. Local relevance

We only consider dating sites and apps that are well established and active in the country, so the members you see live near you.

2. What is free

We create free accounts and note what you can do without paying: profile, search, likes, messages. We also note what needs a subscription.

3. Quality and safety

We look at profile checks, reporting tools, how clear prices are and how easy it is to cancel.

4. Score

Each site gets a score out of 10 based on these criteria and on how well it fits the people searching in that country. Completely free apps are listed separately because they work differently.

5. Updates

Offers change often. Each page shows the date of its last update.
